Why it feels different
A deeper plant-fibre core and a longer body do the work an ultrathin cannot: heavy days and a full night. The layer against your skin is still bamboo fibre, unscented and unbleached, so it stays breathable even under a duvet in an air-conditioned room. Corn-starch backing, no polyethylene.

Regular 245 mm for moderate nights. Large 285 mm for heavy nights. XL 305 mm if you sleep on your side or wake up worrying. Packs of 10, 20 and 30; most women use 8 to 10 night pads a cycle, so a 30-pack is a quarter.

Regular is 245 mm for moderate nights. Large is 285 mm for heavy nights. XL is 305 mm with a wider back for side sleepers or anyone who wakes up worrying. Not sure? Go one size up for nights; you can size down next time.

Will it last the whole night?
It is built for eight hours. The core is several times deeper than an ultrathin and the lab measured it holding 23.9 times its own weight. If you sleep on your side or have very heavy nights, XL gives you the extra length and back coverage.
Is it really biodegradable?
95 percent by weight. The top sheet is bamboo fibre, the core is plant fibre and the backing is corn-starch bioplastic. In composting conditions it breaks down in months to a few years; a conventional pad is about 90 percent plastic and is usually quoted at around 500 years.
